Walk-ins will not be accepted.

What To Expect
Actors:

Prepare a 1–2 minute monologue.

Bring a headshot and resume if available.

Be prepared to read from selected scenes.

Actors who sing should be prepared to perform a gospel
song selection (up to 2 minutes).
Background Singers:

Prepare a gospel song selection (up to 2 minutes).

Bring a headshot and resume if available.

Be prepared to demonstrate vocal range.
All Auditionees:

Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled audition time.

Complete all registration information prior to audition day.

Rehearsal commitment is required for all selected cast and background singers.

Delores (Appears 50s–70s) – Singer
Mother of the family carrying years of guilt, secrets, and unresolved pain.
Renee (Appears 30s–40s) – Singer
A daughter fighting for healing, truth, and freedom from the wounds of her past.
Patrice (Appears 30s–40s) – Singer
Strong, guarded, and carrying burdens she has hidden for years.
Eric Jr. (Appears 30s–40s) – Singer
The oldest sibling and peacemaker trying to hold his family together.
Walter Jr. (Appears 20s–30s) – Non-Singer
The youngest sibling whose loyalty and understanding of his family are challenged by the truth.
SUPPORTING ROLES:
Trina (Appears 50s–70s) – Singer
Delores' outspoken sister who pushes the family toward truth and accountability.
Walter Sr. (Appears 50s–60s) – Non-Singer
The primary antagonist whose actions have deeply impacted the family.

The children's biological father seeking reconciliation and restoration.

The neighbor and family friend who offers wisdom, humor, and perspective.

Renee's loyal best friend and source of encouragement.

A trusted friend who provides support and protection during difficult moments.
BACKGROUND SINGERS:
Seeking strong gospel vocalists to support musical selections throughout the production. Background singers will participate in various musical moments and may be featured throughout the show.
